Steeped in musical influences that began in rural South Georgia, Jonathan’s compositional style is a combination of elements undeniably rooted in that place, along with many other musical experiences and collaborations along the way.
Growing up, Jonathan found profound influence in music traditional to the South. As a composer, these elements, combined with a background in Classical music, and years of experience writing and performing in bands, provide a unique and diverse creative well from which to draw.
Jonathan also has an absolute passion for film and television music and the creative process and magic that can occur when putting music to moving image.
